TravelSmart Protection will not apply:
if you have issues with your visa or other missing documentation required for travel;
in the event of force majeure, which are extraordinary circumstances beyond our or the airline’s control, such as in cases of political instability, severe weather, security risks, strikes, or airline bankruptcy;
if you cannot travel or miss your trip due to your own actions. This includes arriving late for a flight, failing to show up, or not having the valid passports, visas, or other travel documents needed for your entire journey (including all transit countries), or failing to meet the entrance requirements of your destination or layover countries;
if you change your trip or contact details directly with the airline without our prior approval;
if you add any check-in baggage to a booking that was designated as a no check-in baggage itinerary; or
if you have already accepted an alternative flight, claimed a refund, or otherwise settled the matter directly with the airline for the disrupted flight(s).
