TravelSmart Protection is an additional paid service offered on eligible flight bookings to protect you in the event of certain changes, cancellations or delays caused by the airline.
If your itinerary is affected by a covered disruption, this service provides you with a resolution, primarily in the form of instant Travala.com travel credits.
Please note that TravelSmart Protection can only be purchased at the time of booking your trip and cannot be added later.
It covers passengers in the event of a flight disruption caused by the airline, including:

a cancellation, delay, or schedule change that prevents you from boarding one (1) or more flights in your itinerary (including missed flight connections);
-
a change in your origin or destination airport, if the new airport is in a different country or is more than eighty (80) kilometers away from the original airport; or
- if your itinerary is on a single airline reference number (PNR), a delay that results in you arriving at your destination more than five (5) hours later than the originally scheduled arrival time.
